  • Confirm a student's enrollment in graduate courses for the term you're awarding.
  • Follow the requested policies, procedures and formats to expedite the graduate awarding process.
  • Understand that awarding scholarships can impact a student’s other financial aid.

Important Dates

  1. July 30, 2026

    Fall deadline for Graduate awarding

    Deadline to submit the Graduate Awarding Form to ensure scholarships are awarded before fall financial aid begins applying to student bills.

     

  2. Aug. 20, 2026

    Fall term begins

    First day of classes; deadline to submit the Graduate Awarding Form to ensure scholarships are awarded by the first bill due date

    Financial Aid on the bill: Financial aid begins applying to student bills one week before their classes begin. Graduate awarding after this date may not apply before fall bill due date. 

  3. Sept. 4, 2026

    Fall bill due & confirmation of fall enrollment

    Tuition due (date bill must be paid to avoid late and service charges)*

    *For students on TA/RA waivers, the fall bill due date is extended to October 5 to enable receipt of first stipend check

    Date to confirm eligibility for financial aid based on enrollment. Scholarships will be canceled for students who are not meeting enrollment requirements.

  4. Dec. 11. 2026

    Fall term ends

    Last day to submit a fall award request

  5. Dec. 3, 2026

    Spring deadline for Graduate awarding

    Deadline to submit the Graduate Awarding Form to ensure scholarships are awarded before spring financial aid begins applying to student bills.

     

  6. Jan. 7, 2027

    Spring term begins

    Deadline to submit the Graduate Awarding Form to ensure scholarships are awarded by the first bill due date

    Spring bill due

    Tuition due (date bill must be paid to avoid late and service charges)

  9. April 30, 2027

    Spring term ends

    Last day to submit a spring award request

  10. May 3, 2027

    Maymester

    First part of summer term 

  11. May 24, 2027

    Summer Session A, C & D classes begin
