Delivery Delays

USPS is temporarily suspending international mail acceptance for certain destinations due to inadequate transportation options or service disruptions within the country. A complete list of countries affected can be viewed on the USPS website.

New Graduates

We'll ship your original diploma and/or certificate approximately eight weeks after the end of the semester in which you complete your degree requirements.

If you don't establish a diploma address when you apply to graduate, we'll mail your diploma to your home address (note: the post office will not forward your diploma if your address changes).

Note: We'll only mail your diploma or certificate if you satisfy all of your financial obligations within one year after you graduate. If you don't resolve your financial hold(s) until after the allotted time, you must order a replacement diploma.

Certified Electronic Diploma or Certificate

A Certified Electronic Diploma (CeDiploma) or Certified Electronic Certificate (CeCertificate) is an official University of Colorado Boulder diploma in an electronic portable document format (PDF).

Recent Graduates

If you graduated in December 2015 or later, you can download your free CeDiploma or CeCertificate approximately 9 weeks after the end of the semester.

Pre-December 2015 Graduates

If you graduated before December 2015, you can now order a CeDiploma.

$50 for standard processing (up to 15 business days)
$75 for rush processing (up to 7 business days)

To maintain the integrity of your diploma, it will be noted in the bottom corner that the diploma has been reissued and all signatures will reflect current state and university officials.

The name on your a CeDiploma will match what was printed on your original diploma, unless you've submitted a student biodemographic information update form to change it.

Replacement Diploma

If your original diploma is lost or destroyed, you may purchase an official replacement (duplicate) diploma online.
