Incoming Student Trips

Outdoor Pursuits is excited to offer incoming student trips for first-year and transfer students. These trips are geared toward developing relationships with other CU students while exploring various areas around Colorado. Make lifelong connections and memories while trying some outdoor activities before the semester begins!

CU in the Rockies

Spend a week backpacking and sleeping uder the stars, all while making unforgettable memories in the Rocky Mountains! After an afternoon of activities on campus, groups will head out to raft the infamous Colorado River and hit the trail for 5 days of backpacking in the Flat Top Mountains.

Want and unforgetable adventure, but not ready to swap your bed for a tent? We've got you covered! Get to know other incoming students while exploring our scenic mountain base and sleep in the comfort of cabins. Sample a variety of activities including: hiking, climbing, canoeing and more!
