Virtual Free Weight Foundations

This course will cover the fundamentals of strength enhancement and how to create a progressive exercise program to reach your fitness goals. Build your confidence to incorporate a wide variety of exercises into your workout routine by developing proper form and strength training techniques. All levels welcome, no experience required.

Virtual TRX Training

Experience the challenge of a full body workout utilizing suspension training. TRX delivers a fast, effective total body workout, building a strong core while increasing muscular endurance. TRX and door mounts will be available for checkout at the rec center for the duration of the training.

Virtual Mat Pilates

Strength, stamina and flow are at the heart of Pilates classes. In this series you will build core strength, increase flexibility, raise endurance and enhance coordination. Experience how Pilates training will enhance functional fitness, elongate and sculpt lean muscles and improve your sport performance.

Virtual Yoga Basics

A workshop created to teach the basics of yoga. Special focus will be on the breath work, postures and alignment. Yoga Basics will provide space for experienced practitioners to deepen their understanding of their work while newcomers to yoga will open the door to yoga and all the benefits found in regular practice. Each class will have a similar design, with breath and posture warm-up, followed by 10-15 minutes of workshop-style discussion. Class will wrap up with restorative postures and guided relaxation.
