Security Services
What We Do
Security Services designs, implements, and sustains critical public safety technology systems that strengthen prevention, response, and investigative capabilities across campus. These systems form the backbone of CU Boulder’s security infrastructure and are continuously evaluated to meet evolving needs.
Community Safety programs provide a visible, service-oriented presence that strengthens campus safety through engagement, deterrence, and coordinated support—particularly within buildings, at events, and in residential communities.
Protective Services provides specialized security planning and coordination for individuals, official functions, and select campus activities that require an elevated level of preparation and awareness. Services are delivered with an emphasis on discretion, professionalism, and continuity of operations, in close coordination with CUPD and campus partners.
CU Boulder Flight Operations enhances campus safety through aerial monitoring and incident assessment. By providing real-time situational awareness during events and emergency situations, the team supports informed decision-making and coordinated response efforts across the university.
How We Work
