zoe donaldsonCU Psychology and Neuroscience Assistant Professor Zoe Donaldson (Behavioral Neuroscience; she also has an appointment in MCDB) was in the news, getting interviewed for CU Boulder Today about some research published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (PNAS) on the neuronal basis of "longing." Donaldson describes this state as "the motivation to reunite." Her lab studies voles, which are very uncommon in the mammalian world in that they mate for life and thus are an excellent model to examine this motivational state.
