"This past semester I worked as an Investigative Intern for Georgetown Law’s Criminal Justice Clinic. This experience was not only thrilling but transformative. As an investigative intern, I worked alongside public defenders and investigated all aspects of their cases - playing a key role in providing the attorneys with a basis for a defense theory."
"For my ALE I used my position as lead test engineer for my Senior Design project. This position required me to design, direct, coordinate, and review all testing done on our project for the Army Research Office. I lead a group of eight people, including myself, on all test-related activities."
"During this experience I have been able to study leadership in the real world and practice my own. I learned many important lessons regarding my team, trusting others, as well as how I like to lead and the best environments for me to do so. Most importantly, the lessons of adaptability and constant learning of leadership practices was reinforced by this experience."
"This semester has seen significant development in my own personal leadership capacity and the effectiveness of the Resident Advisor Council. This, rather turbulent, stretch of time has truly tested my limitations and the resilience of the council which I have led for the last two years."
"Though it isn’t necessarily design-related, my key experience I got from my internship at JUCY was the relationships I built with my supervisors. I loved getting to know these two creative, outgoing women and they were always excited and open to chat and get to know me."
"I have joined the GLI research team and will continue to work on two research papers with them. I wrote a case story about a woman living with HIV to be included in one research project. This project will be presented as a poster in a conference in Taiwan in September 2019."
