Events

You are invited to attend summer seminars on Wednesday evenings at 7pm in the historic Megaron building (June-August). The science topics range widely and are not restricted to research conducted at the station. Speakers gear their talks towards a general public audience. 

Additionally, the MRS hosts celebrations like the MRS + INSTAAR open house, and meetings like the Guild of Rocky Mountain Ecologists and Evolutionary Biologists (GREEBS).

All talks are free and open to the public. No reservations are required. Please arrive 15 minutes early so that you have time to park and make your way to the seminar. You will be joining a fun mix of MRS scientists, students who are taking courses, and members of the public.

Day visitors are welcome in the areas shown in RED. Evening seminar visitors are also welcome in the areas shown in PURPLE. Unless you need accessible parking for the seminar, please park in the main lots (red) and walk uphill on the road past the Dining Hall to the Megaron building.
