The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is closely monitoring an outbreak of respiratory illness caused by a new coronavirus first identified in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China.

According to CU Boulder's Medical Services, you should seek medical care if you:

  • Traveled to Wuhan within 14 days and are experiencing a fever and lower respiratory symptoms (cough, shortness of breath, chest pain); and/or
  • Have had recent contact with a coronavirus case and are experiencing a fever or lower respiratory symptoms (cough, shortness of breath, chest pain)
