Water chemistry • Water quality • Trace metals

My research studies water chemistry and water quality in the mountain watershed of the Colorado Mineral Belt. I am analyzing concentrations of trace metals and rare earth elements in benthic macroinvertebrates, sediment, and water as snow melts and temperatures increase throughout the summer and into the fall. My advisor is Diane McKnight and I am also working with Tom Marchitto
