CU Events Planning & Catering offers full-service event planning for CU and Boulder. Choose from outdoor locations with Flatirons views or a versatile ballroom. Our experienced planners will assist you from start to finish, including scheduling rooms in the UMC and throughout the CU campus.
The Center for Student Involvement cultivates an environment for building vibrant, engaging and safe communities through programming, leadership development, cultural awareness and learning opportunities.
CAPS provides mental health support for all CU Boulder students, including a 24/7 clinician line, mental health screenings, brief individual therapy, group therapy, workshops, crisis support and more.
OVA provides free and confidential information, consultation, support, advocacy and short-term, trauma-focused counseling services for students, grad students, faculty and staff who have experienced and/or witnessed a traumatic, disturbing or life-disruptive event. They are familiar with a wide range of topics, including sexual assault and harassment, discrimination, microaggressions, identity-based trauma, abuse, violence, intimate partner abuse, stalking, crime and more.
The Office of Institutional Equity and Compliance (OIEC) enforces the University of Colorado Sexual Misconduct Policy, the University of Colorado Boulder Discrimination and Harassment Policies and Procedures, and the University of Colorado Policy on Conflict of Interest in Cases of Amorous Relationships. OIEC will address all complaints of discrimination and harassment for the CU Boulder campus using the methods described in OIEC's Process and Procedures. The executive director of OIEC, on behalf of the entire OIEC team, serves as the campus Title IX coordinator for CU Boulder.
The University of Colorado Boulder Police Department is a full-service police agency providing community-based public safety services to a diverse community of 36,000 affiliates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, all year long. Every year the department responds to approximately 20,000 calls for service. Patrolling the campus by foot, bicycle, motorcycle and vehicle, the CU Boulder police work diligently with the university community and surrounding agencies to ensure a prompt and coordinated law enforcement response.
Health Promotion provides outreach and education on a variety of health topics. They support students in learning skills to make informed decisions about their health to help them succeed while in school and beyond. Health Promotion collaborates with student groups and campus departments in providing programs and services that positively influence student health. Their workshops can be requested by student groups, residence halls and other campus organizations.
Looking for a safe ride on campus or within Boulder city limits? Give CU NightRide a try! This student-operated program provides free night-time transportation for CU students, faculty and staff. They are here to help get you where you want to go safely and efficiently.
At The Center, their goal is to support all students in the exploration of all of their identities and to create a welcoming and inclusive space on campus that supports academic and personal growth. They provide community-building programs, numerous educational opportunities for students to learn and teach, and a space for students to become active, informed global citizens by engaging and interacting with individuals from different cultures.
