The Office of Institutional Equity and Compliance (OIEC) is responsible for three policies at the University of Colorado Boulder: Sexual Misconduct, Protected Class Discrimination and Harassment, and Conflict of Interest in Amorous Relationships.

OIEC is committed to preventing and eliminating discrimination and harassment based on race, color, national origin, pregnancy, sex, age, disability, creed, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, veteran status, political affiliation, or political philosophy at the university.

To achieve this mission, we conduct fair and unbiased investigations and treat all individuals who seek our assistance with respect and dignity.  We also coordinate the provision of accommodations and interim remedies as necessary, and provide educational trainings and workshops for all members of the university community, including faculty, staff, and students.
