David B. LaFrance, Chief executive officer of the AWWA Journal, released an editorial about the future of environmental engineering and focused on four EVEN students doing an internship at AWWA.

  • Catherine Bacon: BS degree in environmental engineering; hometown is Tampa, Fla.
  • Saranya Balu: MS degree in environmental engineering; hometown is Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India
  • Bihu Suchetana: PhD degree in civil engineering; hometown is Durgapur, West Bengal, India
  • Adam West: MS degree in civil and environmental engineering; hometown is Atlanta, Ga.

From the interns' personal experience on the availability and the quality of water, to their objectives as future water professionals, this article gives a great feedback on our EVEN student as interns:
