Associate Teaching Professor Caitlin Charlet, Assistant Professor Elena Sabinson and Associate Professor Jota Samperreceived Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP) grants for the 2024-25 academic year. Areas of work include Biomodernities: Women Leading Bio Design and Materials, Forging Innovations for the Built Environment within Innovative Global Academic Labs; Navigating Neurodiversity: Creating Inclusive Wayfinding at CU Boulder and Forecasting Future Affordability: A Housing Model for the City of Boulder.
Postdoctoral Associate and Lecturer Sophie Weston Chien was featured in Madame Architect, a digital magazine that celebrates women designers and city-making professionals.

Winter graduates should apply by Dec. 12, 2024. Students graduating this winter will have an opportunity for recognition at the ENVD Open House and are encouraged to RSVP to a campus reception.
The graduation application is now open for spring and summer graduates. Apply now to ensure you receive emails related to graduation topics.
Please note that drop-in advising is a queue system, and you will be able to meet with one of the next available ENVD advisors. Once an advisor is available, an email will be sent to your colorado.edu email with the instructions to join their zoom room for your meeting.

All current ENVD students are invited to apply for ENVD scholarships and awards. The deadline to apply is March 15, 2025. Please note that the ENVD Research Award has a different deadline: January 20, 2025. Visit the environmental design scholarships webpage to learn more about the application and award requirements.
