Equipment checkout
Large equipment items such as cameras and laptops, as well as drafting tools such as T-squares, rulers, pencils and markers, glue, and more are available for student checkout.
Photo studio
Students must reserve a time for their work to be photographed. 15 or 30 minute time slots are available. After photos are taken, DMC staff will upload the photos and they will be shared with students via Sharepoint.
Large-format printing
PaperCut is used for all printing within the DMC and students will be charged at-cost for their prints. The link to submit to PaperCut can be found on the Creative Labs Canvas Course.
Scanning
Large and small format scanning are available for student use. DMC staff can help with setting up scans and any questions, otherwise students are allowed to use the scanners on their own.
PaperCut is also used for 3D printing at the DMC and CLC. Only Rhino files (.3dm) are accepted. The link to submit to PaperCut can be found on the Creative Labs Canvas Course. Please ensure if you want to submit a file to the DMC, you are selecting the DMC PaperCut link rather than the CLC one (and vice versa). Students can 3D print at either facility.
