Apply for one of 20 internships available to junior and senior English majors with a GPA of 2.5 or higher for 3 academic credits. Internships are competitive and reward qualified, self-motivated students.

English interns are required to attend class meetings once a week. Class attendance is mandatory.

  1. Read the list of available internships and complete an internship application. Applications to participate in the English Internship program in Spring 2020 are due October 14th, 2019 at 5:00 pm MST.
  2. Mark your calendar to schedule an appointment during the week of October 28-November 1. Prior to being accepted to the internship course, applicants are required to meet and discuss interests and career goals with program director Rachael Deagman Simonetta.

In addition to the internship opportunities detailed below, the department also allows students to solicit their own internships (and partnering sites).
