Interested in exploring the literary world, both on and off campus? Join a fun, lively group of fellow undergraduate students for activities and events that will stimulate your intellectual curiosity and create deep and lasting connections. There are opportunities for everyone, from the shyest bookworm to the born orator; you can take part in our philosophical discussion groups, writing workshops, outreach efforts to area high schools and community organizations, and help us bring inspiring guest speakers. We have both formal and informal venues for members to share their writing, including a web-based magazine.

English Undergraduate Student Advisory Council
The Undergraduate Student Advisory Council is a professional development student organization that offers undergraduate students the opportunity to shape their experience as an English major and a member of the English Department community.
Students on the Council work with faculty, staff, and their fellow students to organize events, develop outreach programs, promote English as a major and minor, connect with alumni, and enhance the English student experience. This is a fun way to become more involved with the English Department and develop your professional skills!
Interested in learning more about the Council? Join our meetings every Wednesday at 4 p.m. in the Dilts Lounge (Hellems 124). For more details, sign up for the English Undergraduate Student Advisory Council, or contact mentor Teresa Nugent.
