Curious about the future of hybrid work in the college? Check out the recent communication issued by Dean Molenaar and the CEAS leadership team. Employees working either in hybrid or remote modalities are now required to have an approved work agreement on file annually. Supervisors should have conversations with each employee who will be working in hybrid and remote modalities. All unit leadership and HR liaisons have received information about completing this step. If you have any questions or comments, please contact CEAS HR at ceashr@colorado.edu.

Join CU Boulder Staff Council for a blood drive to save lives and support our community. Every little bit counts in this time of need! The drives will be held on campus at the Student Recreation Center in the Ice Rink Overlook Rooms.

This session will present results from the 2021 Campus Culture Survey to prompt attendees to examine negative behaviors that impact the departmental environment and the classroom. Skills for recognizing and productively addressing microaggressions, navigating challenging moments and discussions, and handling reports to Office of Institutional Equity and Compliance (OIEC) will be included. Understanding how the OIEC process works and correlates to the Professional Rights and Responsibilities (PRR) process can help academic leaders navigate long and short-term difficulties in their environment.

By refinancing your mortgage, you may be able to lower your monthly payments, get a better interest rate or a reduced term for your loan, or even eliminate the cost of private mortgage insurance (PMI). In this seminar, we’ll discuss refinancing in depth, including what options may be available to you and when a refinance may make sense.

PeopleSoft Finance Training classes cover basic information about fund accounting and budget theory. CCO shows you how to access and use the system. Training includes navigation, ChartFields, journal entries (JEs), and reporting.

The StrengthsQuestTM seminar provides an opportunity for CU-Boulder employees to identify their natural talents by taking the Clifton StrengthsFinder assessment. During this interactive workshop participants will learn to develop their talents into strengths. These strengths will allow participants to continue developing in their career and enhance working relationships.

Participate in a one-hour, all levels yoga class with the best views in Boulder, followed by snacks and drinks afterwards. Admission fee is $20, no refunds. Please bring your own mat, towel and a water bottle. Walkups are welcome, but reservations are suggested. Doors open 30 minutes prior to the start of the yoga class. Hourly parking is available on Level P1 in the Folsom Field Parking Garage.

Say hello to Jolene, who just turned one year old last week! Jolene’s family had been fostering her and recently learned that they get to keep her fur-ever. She’s a delight and her family is tickled to have her, although her family has never had a dog before! Loved by Cindy Pickett in the ITLP.
