Start With a Course

The below information is for on campus/distance courses only. For online Coursera options, go directly to the Coursera page.

We encourage prospective students to try out an engineering management course to see if it’s the right fit.

Prospective students may take up to 3 EMEN courses before being admitted to the program. Should you be admitted, the courses would count towards the degree as long as a B or better was received.

Tuition falls under the Access rate through Continuing Education.

Step 1

APPLY

If this is your first time taking a class or it has been more than three consecutive semesters since you have taken a class through the University of Colorado Boulder, you’ll need to apply through Continuing Education as a non-degree seeking student.

If you're using your CU employee benefit, you'll need to apply through Employee Services.

Step 2

ENROLL

To enroll, email the Engineering Management Program the following information:

  1. Brief description of your education and work background.
  2. Section you would like to enroll in (distance or campus)
  3. Course you would like to enroll in
  4. Last 4 digits of your student ID (you will receive one once you complete your non-degree application)
