Claudia Bouvier
- Instructor
Claudia’s undergraduate degree is in Civil Engineering from Escola Politécnica da Universidade de São Paulo, Brazil. Just before graduation she joined Turner Construction Company as a cost control and scheduling engineer, working at various types of large construction and in the job sites. After two years with Turner South America, she joined Turner Chicago, while pursuing a design degree in the evenings. For the next 20 years she either worked in medium and small design and architectural firms or ran a boutique design and construction management firm, mostly as a project manager, bridging the gap between conceptual design, architectural plans and construction execution in the field.
She also holds a Master of Engineering degree from the University of Colorado Boulder's Engineering Management Program and for the last 6 years has pursued an entrepreneurial career as a founder/owner of a CPG company in Boulder. Her company has won several industry awards related to sustainability and innovation in the food space, and her products can be found at grocery shelves throughout the country. She incubated her company at CU’s Catalyze program. Claudia is a sustainability advocate and is often found speaking at trade shows, conferences and educational events (including CU’s various departments). She manages marketing and sales at her company.
