Drinking Water
The University of Colorado Boulder receives all drinking water from the City of Boulder. We are fortunate in Colorado to be at “the top of the chain” so to speak in terms of our water supply. All of our water originated as precipitation that accumulated in the mountains west of Boulder. We benefit from the close association by being provided with abundant clean water that has a consistent source and chemistry.
The city collects and performs thousands of analytical tests every year on the drinking water they supply to ensure the water that is delivered to campus, and the community is safe. Annual water quality reports can be found here: Drinking Water Quality Report.
The University of Colorado Boulder is committed to providing the highest quality drinking water possible and adheres to the Colorado Primary Drinking Water Regulations.
