Faculty Fellows are a competitively selected group of faculty selected to consider a sustainability theme and lead a faculty training.
Each year, we change the theme to address timely topics and attract a range of expertise to build community across disciplines. The first cohort was focused on the theme of environmental and climate justice due to faculty demand for discussions on the relationship between environmental and climate justice and campus’ new sustainability leadership, as well as challenges posed by the volatile changing political landscape related to this topic. The second cohort, meeting Fall 2025-Spring 2026, is focused on the theme of information integrity, as mis- and disinformation, as well as AI slop and hallucinations, increasingly have created barriers to teaching sustainability.
