Michelle holds a Master of Arts degree in Language and Communication as well as a Bachelor of Science in French and Linguistics (with a focus on TESL), both from Georgetown University, in addition to a Graduate Certificate in TESOL from the University of California Berkeley. She has taught English in a variety of settings since 1999, including programs at the US Agency for International Development (USAID) and Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS). Michelle also spent a number of years at the World Bank developing and delivering learning programs on Education Reform in English and in French, both online and in person, for client countries and development partners worldwide. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, eating, reading and participating in outdoor activities.
