Hotels

Boulder and the surrounding area have a wide variety of hotel accommodations and short-term rental options. You do not need to sign a lease for a hotel, which allows flexibility in the length of time that you stay at a hotel. Below are some websites that may help you choose a hotel:

Hotel Packages for Special Programs

If the IEC program you are registering for includes assistance with making hotel reservations, please email ieccu@colorado.edu with your travel details.

Homestays

Homestays are available for the Short-term Language + Culture Program and Special Programs only. It is the responsibility of the IEC to match students with their homestay families.

Homestay Family Details

  • Homestay families are located in Boulder and in cities surrounding Boulder.
  • All homes are located on convenient bus lines to the IEC.
  • Homestay families are carefully vetted and have passed background checks.
  • Homestay families provide a safe and nurturing environment and will assist the student’s adaptation to family and life in the U.S.
