Gussie Lord

Gussie Lord (Oneida Nation of Wisconsin) is the managing attorney of Earthjustice’s Tribal Partnerships Program, where she represents tribes and Indigenous communities in environmental litigation and advocacy.  Gussie has worked with dozens of tribes nationwide and has represented clients in federal, state, and tribal courts and administrative proceedings. She also has worked with tribes to develop and enforce environmental laws and regulations. Gussie is a graduate of the University of Michigan Law School and the Virginia Military Institute.
