You've helped ALTEC be a leader in languages for the past 30 years and we're excited to share what we've got in store for the start of the next 30! We can't wait to show you our bold and inspiring vision in April.

We continue to be extremely enthusiastic about languages and technology and what the future holds for this field, and we have come a long way since our beginnings as a listening lab stocked with reel to reel tapes. We view our mission as being closely linked to CU Boulder’s Academic Futures Initiative: we wish to support student-centered approaches to learning, promote interdisciplinarity and internationalism across campus, help language faculty incorporate technology in the classroom, and continue fostering interest in world languages and cultures on campus and off.

We are more excited than ever to share with faculty, students, staff and the community our revitalized center, which is a hub for innovation and creativity, a space for research and collaboration, and a home for meaningful exchanges. We are excited to enter this new era with you all and look forward to seeing you at ALTEC soon.
