she, her, hers

Wendy is originally from San Marcos, Texas (½ way between Austin & San Antonio). She graduated from the University of Houston with a B.A. in Psychology/minor in Sociology and then earned an M.S. in Counseling from the University of Houston-Clear Lake. As an undergrad, she played flute in marching and symphonic bands, and was a member of Tau Beta Sigma Honorary Band Service Sorority, an organization she still volunteers with. Wendy worked in the Admissions/Enrollment Services offices at both of her alma maters before moving to Colorado and advising in the Leeds School of Business. After some time focusing on being “Mom,” she is thrilled to be back at CU and advising Psychology & Neuroscience majors!

Wendy enjoys working with students as they strive to determine and reach their educational and personal goals. She loves to spend time with her kiddo and cat, travel, read, do yoga, puzzles and random art projects, and watch plants grow. She’s a fan of good Tex-Mex, Whataburger, and Blue Bell ice cream (from deep in the heart of Texas)!
