they, them, theirs

Jordyn graduated from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. During their undergraduate career, Jordyn found a passion for working with college students through experiences as an Orientation Leader, Admissions Ambassador, and in housing and residential life support work. This passion led them to Bowling Green State University (Ohio), where they earned a Master of Arts in College Student Personnel.

As a graduate student, Jordyn worked in health and wellness prevention and programming and in housing and residential life. Their graduate studies were influenced by research on LGBTQ+ students, with a focus on transgender, nonbinary, and gender nonconforming students and the ways universities can more adequately serve this population of students. In graduate school, Jordyn found a passion for working one on one and having developmental and insightful conversations with students. Ultimately, this led them to Colorado to work as an Academic Advisor in the College of Arts and Sciences.

Outside of work, Jordyn enjoys crafting plant-based meals and baked goods, taking in the scenery of the great outdoors, and making fiber art. They also love drinking iced coffee year-round.
