Charles is but a humble Midwestern man with delicate midwestern sensibilities. Having lived in the frigid north for several long years, Charles emerged from the cocoon of the non-profit field as a beautiful education butterfly and has moved out to the wild west in order to seek his fortune. He is THRILLED to have the opportunity to work with students once more!

Charles earned his Bachelors of Arts in Secondary English Education from Fort Lewis College in 2015 and his Masters of Arts in Higher Education Student Affairs with a certificate in Academic Advising from Eastern Michigan University in 2017, all the while pursuing a career in Student Housing and Residence Life. After graduating from his masters program, Charles worked in the non-profit field as a Youth Coordinator and honed his skills as a bartender on the side. Charles has a passion for ability theory within Higher Education, and is slowly but surely working on a research project on the intersection of Autism and LGBTQ identities in a university setting. Outside of work, Charles enjoys going on hikes with his sweet wrinkle-dog Chaco, reading comics, playing Dungeons and Dragons, watching sports or cartoons, riding a Boulder B Cycle around town, trying out new recipes, and crocheting.
