Did you know that students who intentionally build skills while they're at CU land a job within their field upon graduation 6-9 months faster than their peers who don't? Serious flex.

This workshop is designed to help you identify the skills you've built in your UROP, or other undergraduate research, experience and showcase them on your resume—to get it to the top of the stack! You'll also receive links to opportunities on campus, where you can build new skills and expand on the ones you already have, giving yourself a hiring advantage before you even graduate.

In addition, we'll show you the top 10 foundational skills that all jobs and industries are hiring for, based on real-time data scraped from over 50,000 job postings. You'll determine how they apply to you, your goals, and your unique journey. We'll cover strategies to help you determine if a job or opportunity is right for you, so you're not wasting your time building experience that's supposed to "look good on a resume" but doesn't actually get you to where you're going.
