    Visit the Transfer Events calendar to look for upcoming Transfer Advocate Trainings. Or, schedule tailored training for your department, office or unit. Email Miki Brooks to schedule a team session.
  • Where does the training take place?
    The Transfer Advocate Training is available virtually. In person departmental sessions upon request.

Transfer Advocate 101 Training
The first training session describes the transfer student landscape on campus. You’ll learn more about the unique contributions of our Transfer Buffs and what actions you can take to support this population. Participants will also learn about campus support and resources for Transfer Buffs.

Transfer Advocate 201 Training
Part two of the Transfer Advocate Training digs deeper into the role of a Transfer Advocate and how to apply your knowledge as a member of the CU Boulder community.

Transfer Advocate Micro-credential
Take your learning from Transfer Advocate 101 and 201 to the next level by earning the Transfer Advocate Micro-credential. Through an action-oriented capstone project, you’ll gain the tools and insight to remove barriers, celebrate transfer students, and make a lasting impact on the CU Boulder transfer student experience.
