Family, friends and community members from CU Boulder and beyond will pay tribute to former Vice Chancellor for Strategic Relations Frances Draper in a memorial service at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 9.

CU is celebrating with two breakfast stations. Stop by from 7 to 9 a.m. on Main Campus in front of the Recreation Center or on East Campus at the north side of the Jennie Smoly Caruthers Biotechnology Building for free burritos, trivia, prizes and more.

After a closure that lasted over a year, the CU Museum of Natural History will be reopening its doors to the campus and community Monday, Sept. 27.

Run or walk 3.1 miles with CU Boulder in mind as part of Family Weekend and Homecoming. Your entry fee for the 5K will include a Forever Buffs T-shirt, commemorative medal, race bib and CU stickers. Plus, $10 from each entry supports student scholarships.

Plan to watch the chancellor’s two-part State of the Campus online event. Day one will include the release of the documentary The Road Back: CU Boulder’s Response to COVID-19. Day two will include the release of a speech by Chancellor Philip DiStefano sharing his excitement and goals for the academic year.

The National Snow and Ice Data Center has partnered with visual artist and contemporary painter Kendall Rose Kippley to share an artistic interpretation of Arctic sea ice loss at Street Wise Boulder, an annual “ARTivism” mural festival in Boulder.
