More than 2,000 students work in the Division of Student Life, with job roles ranging from peer mentoring to event planning to social media content creation and university operations. Student employees directly contribute to the success of our campus community—and you can be a part of this team.
Whatever your goals or interests are, there’s a job for you in Student Life.
Many departments hire students to help plan events and activities for Buffs throughout the year. You can gain skills while creating opportunities for students to make new connections, have fun and get more involved on campus.
Some campus jobs may align with your future career plans, including roles in marketing, education, fitness instruction, community outreach and more. Take advantage of these opportunities to build technical skills and expand your network.
Front desk positions, food service and customer service roles often mean you can create positive experiences for campus community members. These roles also have flexible scheduling and accommodations during busy times, like finals.
Peer mentors, tutors and personal trainers work one-on-one or in small groups to help Buffs achieve a specific goal. In these student-employee roles, you can make a difference while gaining experience for your resume.
Jobs in Student Life include:
- Working at the Rec Center as an intramural sports official, lifeguard or fitness instructor.
- Becoming a peer tutor in the Academic Success and Achievement Program (ASAP).
- Joining the Peers Educating and Empowering Peers (PEEPs) team in the Center for Inclusion and Social Change.
- Planning events in the Center for Student Involvement.
- Helping campus community members get home safely as a driver/dispatcher for CU NightRide.
