Between engagement programs, events and more, there are many ways for staff to get involved and connect with colleagues in the Division of Student Affairs. Engagement events and programs are open to all Student Affairs staff.

Engagement Philosophy Statement
This training provides new Student Affairs employees with useful information about the division and resources for staff. There will be opportunities to ask questions and connect with other new staff members. New staff are strongly encouraged to attend a New Employee Orientation session within their first six months in the Division of Student Affairs.
The Student Affairs Mentorship Program provides career and professional development opportunities for staff, whether they serve as a mentor or a mentee. Both roles will help staff develop skills they need to progress in the next steps of their career.
The SA Leadership Development Program is a career opportunity to division leaders and aspiring leaders interested in building a leadership foundation to lead self, others and an organization. Participants will be actively engaged through discussions and presentations.
In April 2023, Student Affairs staff had the opportunity to share feedback about their work environments in the 2023 Faculty and Staff Engagement Survey. This survey was administered to all university faculty and staff to identify strengths and opportunities for improvement related to faculty/staff experiences working at CU Boulder. The survey asked staff to respond to questions related to the following topics:
Over the fall 2023 semester, the Student Affairs Engagement Champions will review and share survey data with division and department leaders, set priorities and engage in action planning at the division and department levels.
