- The Colorado chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) honored the CU Boulder communications team with three Gold Pick awards for a chancellor op ed campaign, a paid social media campaign featuring research and a catchy science story.
- CU Boulder's Lisa Marshall produced what is now an award-winning story that touches on how exposure to "old friends" in soil can improve peoples' mental health.

- The Colorado Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA Colorado) recognized CU Boulder’s Office of Strategic Relations and Communications with six awards on May 2. The PRSA Colorado Awards were established to honor Colorado’s best public relations campaigns and outstanding professionals.
