Designed to align SRC in support of campus leadership, colleges, schools and programs and to better coordinate with communications and marketing colleagues, the new structure clarifies roles and responsibilities throughout the department.

“It is important to refine our alignment to CU Boulder’s mission,” said Leslie. “This structure will strengthen each team member’s understanding of how we support communications strategy emanating from our campus leadership, colleges, schools and programs.”

Over the next three months, SRC leadership and management teams will transition into the following areas of responsibility:

  • Media Relations, Executive and Strategic Communications
  • Admissions Marketing and Content Strategy
  • Strategic Marketing
  • Multimedia Content Creation
  • Constituent Experience and Communications Operations
  • Finance and Business Operations

“We will continue to adjust according to our needs, meaning additional changes will occur,” said Leslie. “However we are now structurally aligned to know what we do, how we do it and how we will measure the results we achieve.”

An updated organizational chart (PDF) is available on the Strategic Relations and Communications website, which will continue to be refined over the coming months.
