Greetings catalog reviewers!

This message contains an overview of the 2020–21 university catalog production schedule, upcoming drop-in working session dates, a request to share workflow updates and a preview of other next steps.

Update Your Catalog Workflow(s)

Before the 2020–21 catalog opens for edits in October, we need your help ensuring the workflows for your pages are up to date. If you’ve had staffing or other changes that impact who should review your catalog content, please let us know by submitting a workflow update request form. If needed, you can also contact us to request a breakdown of current workflow configurations for your page(s).

The deadline to submit catalog workflow updates is Friday, October 4.

Submit Workflow Updates

If you review Arts & Sciences or Engineering & Applied Science program pages in the catalog, please note that our team is working directly with Peter Hoagland and Mary Steiner respectively on all catalog workflow updates for these colleges.

An overview of key catalog production milestones is below.

Please note that several deadlines pertain to academic program pages only. • Deadline for all academic department reviewers to approve catalog pages.*
    • Workflows initiated for non-academic program pages; edits to these catalog pages begin.
  • Friday, Feb. 7, 2020:
    • Deadline for all college- and school-level reviewers to approve catalog pages.
    • Deadline for all non-academic program page reviewers to approve pages.
  • Friday, Feb. 28: Degree audit team reviews all academic program pages, and will encode degree audits based on requirements as defined in the catalog.
  • Monday, March 23: Catalog team completes final review of all catalog pages (consistency, structural improvements and style guide alignment).
  • Tuesday, March 31: CU Boulder 2020–21 catalog published.

*If you review academic program pages in the catalog in Arts & Sciences, please defer to Peter Hoagland for any additional college-specific instructions related to this deadline.
