Who can play intramural sports?

All faculty, staff, alumni, students and spouses of the aforementioned who have a valid Recreational Center Membership.

What is the intramural sports pass?

The intramural (IM) sports pass gives a participant access to all IM leagues and tournaments for a semester. Once you purchase the IM sports pass, you will be able to register or join a team in IMLeagues.com (during the registration period).

Some sports will require an additional team fee due to additional costs associated with that sport.

Does the IM sports pass guarantee me a spot in a league?

No, you will still need to register a team or join a team on IMLeagues.com in order to play. This is first come, first served, so be sure to register early.

When are games played?

Games are played:

  • Monday–Thursday: 4 to 11:45 p.m.
  • Friday: 4 to 7 p.m.
  • Saturday–Sunday: 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.
How do I form a team?

Teams can be formed by getting your friends or classmates together and registering a team on IMLeagues.com during the registration period. You can also contact people on the Free Agents list on IMLeagues.

Can I play on more than one team per sport?

Yes, you may play on a total of one Equal Opportunity team and one Co-Recreational team per sport, if both leagues are offered.

Can I reschedule games once the schedule has been posted?

No. Once the schedule has been posted, there are no changes. If your team is not able to make a game, you must email the IM office at imsports@colorado.edu by noon the day of your game for a weekday game, or noon on Friday for a weekend game. We will try to find a replacement team for your game. If we are unable to find a replace team, you will receive a forfeit.

What happens if my team no shows and forfeits?

If your team forfeits a game without letting the IM office know by the designated deadline, your team will be dropped from the league.

What is the intramural sports refund policy?

No refunds will be given for the IM sports pass.

If I purchased an IM pass last semester, but didn’t end up playing, do I still need to buy one for this semester?

Yes. We recommend purchasing the year-long IM pass so you don’t run into this problem. It’s also better bang for your buck than the semester pass.
