We offer a variety of classes allowing participants to explore movement through dance. Classes are progressive in nature so you can try something new or enhance technique in your favorite style.
The first half of this comprehensive course will take place at the barre as participants learn to plié, tendu, rond de jambe and more. The second half of the class will cover floor work, including basic turns and jumps. This class is ideal for true beginners and dancers who wish to strengthen their foundational training. No equipment required.
This all-levels class combines movements from jazz, ballet and modern dance into one highly physical and playful technique. Participants will learn strength, coordination and control training central to ballet, as well as expressive movements that are fundamental to modern dance and jazz.
Dates: February 18 to April 21 (no class on March 25)
Take it from the beginning and learn hip-hop fundamentals. Learn the foundations of hip-hop dance styles including house, breaking (break dancing) and popping. This class will also cover basic choreography and cypher skills. This class is perfect for those who are new to dance.
