We offer a variety of classes allowing participants to explore movement through dance. Classes are progressive in nature so you can try something new or enhance technique in your favorite style. 

Ballet Techniques

The first half of this comprehensive course will take place at the barre, as participants learn plié, tendu, rond de jambe and more. The second half of the class will cover floor work including basic turns and jumps. This class is ideal for true beginners and dancers wishing to strengthen their foundational training.

Contemporary Dance 

This open-level class fuses movements from jazz, ballet and modern dance into one highly physical and playful technique. Learn strength, coordination and control training central to ballet, an expressive use of the arms and torso fundamental to modern dance styles combined with the expressiveness of jazz.

Jazz Dance

This course is designed to engage the dancer at every level, from beginner to the more advanced.  Throughout the progression of this course students can expect to considerably increase their flexibility, stamina, and coordination.  Each class follows the traditional jazz format: warm-up focusing on body isolations, strength, control, and endurance.  Leading into expansive and energetic across the floor combinations, and ending with expressive and always highly musical final phrase.

Indian Modern Fusion Dance

The world of Contemporary Indian dance is a fusion of classical forms blended with hip-hop, jazz, Bollywood and Western dance forms. This class is ideal for true beginners and dancers wishing to strengthen their foundational training.

Cuban Salsa

Rueda de Casino is a choreographed dance circle based on Cuban Salsa and Casino dance styles. Its world popularity is increasing, and one can visit studios and festivals around the world and dance the same moves comfortably with any group. This class will emphasize Casino dance footwork and patterns, partner dance stance, as well as Afro-Cuban and Son Cubano rhythm and musicality. Given the natural, continuous changing partner choreography of the Rueda, students can fully participate and enjoy the class without the need for a set partner.
