Student Athlete Testimonials:

Ellie Dunlap, Junior

Soccer has been a big part of my life ever since I could remember; so coming to college I was really looking forward to trying out for the team. Playing club soccer for CU has given me a great social network of friends and helped keep me motivated with school. All the girls and coaches in club have had such a positive impact on my college experience and given me a strong sense of pride for CU.

Sierra Reed, Junior

Deciding to play for the CU Women’s Club soccer team has been one of the best decisions that I made since being at CU. I decided to try out for the team my sophomore year. My freshmen year here was kind of rough because I did not make many good friends. This was mainly why I decided to try out because in the past when I have been on a team some of my best friends have come out of playing soccer with them. And it turns out it also works in college! Once I had made the team, all the returning players were very welcoming. Not only did I find good teammates, but also I believe that I have found friends that will last a lifetime! As well as finding good friends I get to play the game that I love while also having time for school and social activities.

Taylor Chang, Freshman

Soccer has always been a passion of mine. It has helped make me the person I am proud to be today. But what makes playing the game you love so much more special, is having the opportunity to play for an amazing program with genuine people. I have only been a part of CU Club Soccer for a short period of time but it has already made my college experience so much more enjoyable. The friendships don’t stop when you walk off the field, they carry out into our everyday lives. In just a few short weeks my teammates have become my best friends. And without our amazing coaches and dedicated members we wouldn’t have such a determined competitive program and family.
