Bike: CU Boulder is recognized as a Gold Bicycle Friendly University, and the city of Boulder is one of the best cities for biking in the U.S. To learn more, visit our bike program's webpage.

Carpool: Carpooling is a great way to save money on gas, parking, and vehicle wear and tear. For those interested, Waze Carpool and the CU Commute program are convenient options.

Vanpool: CU employees can vanpool for either $20* or $50 a month, which includes all fees (maintenance, gas, and parking). Starting a van requires at least five vanpoolers with similar work schedules and commute routes. *Frontline service employees.

Guaranteed Ride Home: The Guaranteed Ride Home program provides faculty and staff with a FREE taxi ride home in the event of an emergency or work schedule change. Must have a valid Buff One Card and EcoPass.

All parking on campus is fee based. Parking services provides permits for long-term parking; you can discuss permit options with your department's parking liaison. Short-term and temporary parking is available throughout campus as well.
