Prior to joining the department, Ramos taught in the First-Year Engineering program at the University of Notre Dame, where she received her MS and PhD in Mechanical Engineering. She holds a BS in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from the University of Texas at El Paso. Ramos is passionate about engineering education and recognizing untapped potential in students from diverse backgrounds.
