Dan Godrick, PE, brings a wealth of engineering experience to his teaching, including two years with the Parthenon Group (Boston, MA), two years as a project manager with Xanga.com (New York), and 13 years as a mechanical engineer as a consultant in private practice (Washington DC; Boulder). Prior to becoming an instructor in IDE, Dan was a product design and instrumentation engineer with the Integrated Teaching and Learning Program (ITLP) at CU.

Dan teaches first-year engineering projects (GEEN 1400), Engineering Tools and Analysis (GEEN 2010), Statics for Engineers (GEEN 2851), and Invention and Innovation (GEEN 3400). 

He holds degrees in mechanical engineering (BS Duke University, MS CU) and civil engineering (MS George Washington University), and is a licensed PE in Colorado.
