Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences Concentration (12 credits)

Examine the dynamical, physical and chemical processes that occur in the atmosphere and ocean.

A major theme is the establishment of a physical basis for observing, modeling, and understanding climate and global change.

Choose 1 Lower Division Course (3 cr)

  • ATOC 1050 - Weather and the Atmosphere (3 credits)
    • Note: ATOC 1050 is a pre-requisite for many upper division ATOC courses
  • ATOC  1060 - Our Changing Environment (3 credits)

  • ATOC 2050 - Intro to Atmospheric Research (3 credits)
