Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences Concentration (12 credits)

Examine the dynamical, physical and chemical processes that occur in the atmosphere and ocean.

A major theme is the establishment of a physical basis for observing, modeling, and understanding climate and global change.

Students wishing to complete an Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences Minor may need to complete additional coursework. Please see the Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences website for details. 

Choose 1 Lower Division Course (3 cr)

• ATOC 1050 - Weather and the Atmosphere (3 credits)
  • Note: ATOC 1050 is a pre-requisite for many upper division ATOC courses

• ATOC  1060 - Our Changing Environment (3 credits)

• ATOC 2050 - Intro to Atmospheric Research (3 credits)

Choose 2 Upper Division courses (6 credits):
