Professional background, interests and expertise: I work in management consulting in New York City, having transferred at the end of 2018 within our company from the Denver office where I spent the first few years of my career. My work involves data analysis, traveling, preparing and giving presentations to managers and directors from a variety of clients and industries, mainly energy and healthcare industries.

Best professional advice: This is a great choice if you are generally interested in business but not sure which type of career you want to dive into yet, it gives you a variety of experiences with the ability towork on many different projects across industries. I consider the experience extremely valuable, both in terms of development of skills but also because it in many ways is like declaring Open Option major when entering the workforce where you have the flexibility to try a lot of things out early in your career. Do be aware, if you don't want to travel at all, this may not be the best choice for you.
