I believe that leadership is the pairing of the humble courage needed to recognize that change is necessary with the compassion required to put others before yourself. When I first heard about PLC, I was ecstatic that I could learn about leadership and become a better leader in both a classroom and experiential setting, and eagerly applied. Once I was accepted into PLC, I knew I was going to CU: PLC was the main reason why I chose to attend CU. I was particularly excited about the tight knit community PLC provides. Being a part of a supportive and compassionate community was my top priority for college. At CU, I am studying Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology (MCDB) because I want to use science to help make our world a healthier, more prosperous place.
