PLC2 provides first-year PLCers in the program with a upperclassmen mentor that can share experiences, lessons learned, advice, and friendship. Freshmen PLC students are matched with upperclassmen. When students complete their first year, it is then their turn to mentor the new freshmen cohort if they choose to. All matches are facilitated and managed by the Mentorship Coordinators who serve on the PLC Student Staff.
"A PLC2 Mentor is another PLCer who serves as a resource, a helping hand, a sounding board, and possibly a referral source. PLC peer mentors provide support, encouragement, and connection to those who are just beginning their PLC and CU journey."
