The effectiveness of the PLC Opportunity Network is contingent on having engaged alumni, and other committed individuals and organizations in the network. Here are some of the ways you or your organization can partner with the PLC program and our students:
- Community partners can sponsor a design challenge for a student project team for our course PRLC 1820, Community Issues in Leadership
- Become a mentor
- Provide internship opportunities that students can use for their professional and academic development, and ideally for the walkabout intensive
- Utilize a tailored PLC student project team to address an issue for your organization
- Support an Experiential Weekend by speaking to our students or hosting a site visit

Impact on Education
Impact on Education is a non-profit dedicated to supporting all Boulder Valley public schools with funding projects and initiatives that drive innovation and foster excellence. This small organization, headquartered in Louisville, CO, has partnered with PLC in a couple of key ways. Impact on Education will be a Community Partner for the PRLC 1820 course in spring 2017, as well as, being an internship provider for PLC students interested in working in education, non-profit, business management, event coordination and management, etc. This special partnership was cultivated by an initial internship placement turned full time job for Grant Simon, PLC ’09. Grant has been an integral and valued member of the Impact on Education team as the Development and Marketing Manager.
