Best professional advice: When I was half way through high school I wanted to be a pediatrician. Because I like the "idea" of being a doctor and working with children. But I couldn't shake this love for advertising...communicating a message in a clear and creative way. The struggle in picking a major came down to which one was more stable and hand the highest opportunity for income. Fast forward and I'm glad I followed my heart. A good amount of adulting is spending time doing things you don't want to do. Your profession (I don't like to use the term "job") shouldn't be one of them. Follow your heart...but take your brain with you.
