Degree(s):  B.A. in News-Editorial Journalism, Minor in Religious Studies; M.A. in Arts Management

Professional background, interests and expertise:

Journalist turned marketer, I champion the arts through engaging content and storytelling. Currently, I serve as the Creative Content Manager for the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, DC. In this role, I manage editorial creative for campaigns focused on donor cultivation, new audience growth, and program promotion. I worked in a similar capacity for the Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts, where I promoted more than 200 annual performances through print and digital channels.

Prior to coming to Washington, DC, to pursue my master's degree in Arts Management at American University, I specialized in arts and business coverage as a journalist for publications in Colorado and Hungary, including as the managing editor of Where Budapest magazine and deputy editor of Business Hungary magazine.

I would be happy to discuss all things arts, culture, journalism, marketing, travel, and more.

Hours available for mentoring per month: 2-3

Best professional advice: When I was an undergraduate, I hadn't heard about the field of arts management, but thanks to a mentor in Budapest, I found a field that was a perfect fit for me. I encourage others who are passionate about creativity and leadership to pursue work in the arts sector. You really can make a living out if it, I promise.
